SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE



William Shakespeare is considered the greatest dramatist of all time. He was baptized on April 26, 1564, in England. He grew up in Henley Street, near London. William married Anne Hathaway.

In 1593 he published "Venus and Adonis", one of his first large poems. Over the years he became more famous in the London theatre world. Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616.

"Shakespeare in love" (1998) directed by John Madden, is an American film starred in by Gwyneth Paltrow and Joseph Fiennes. The film tells the story of the love adventure between Viola de Lesseps and William Shakespeare, during the time when the playwright was writing Romeo and Juliet.


We have recently watched the film in class, and it has been worth seeing it. We found it very interesting and full of love; we considered it a great film. If you like love and drama films you will definitely enjoy it! However, we didn't like the end... just watch it and let us know your opinion in the comments!!

    Although I´m not a great fan of William Shakespeare, how you wrote a brief plot and the trailer it looks like an interenting movie! And I would try to see it. Thanks for your advice and recommendation!

    Hello,
    I´m Jon I don´t like love and drama films but i think that Shakespeare was a extelent dramatist and those people who did the film in memory of Shakespeare and Hathaway also did an excelent job and I wil recomended to the people that like drama and love films.
